IceQuants

This page is intended to explain the vision we have for this site. If any of the members other than me actually would ever post anything, it would be nice to have some concensus as to how we would like to organize things.

Written on 14th April:
Launching the revival of IceQuants, I’ve since the below post (more than a year ago!) learned that democracy is for whimps. More importantly, it is by far the most inefficient method of management and should only be used when, for some unfortunate safety reasons it is absolutely necessary. (One example of such a case is politics where the employment of democracy is employed out of, as Icelandic people would say, “illri nauðsyn”.)

A change in the organization from before. It turns out that many categories can actually be used in one and the same post. So it turns out that the original use for categories will be implemented, i.e. to sort and categorize (no pun (or fun, for that matter) intended) the subjects of posts within the realm of Mathematical Finance.

By all means, and please do give me your ideas of how to use the site. I don’t have any idea of how we should organize the file repository, but at some point we want to have a collection of interesting articles here, preferable organized in such a way that searching and browsing is simple.
